Community Manager, Opiner

I was delighted to be approached to work as the Community Manager for a start-up called Opiner. Opiner is a community of enthusiastic, curious and creative young individuals that make the multidisciplinary, change pioneers we call our Kaleidoscope community. It is these young innovators that I manage. Opiner is an innovative qualitative research collection platform that explores problems, big and small, facing companies and society.

 

Opiner provides the divergence in design thinking to facilitate fresh, radical innovative perspectives and conversation to those who engage with our community. We endeavour to inspire, ideate, and iterate solutions for new product and service ideas. This all takes place under one video research platform, which provides specialised content 10x faster than using traditional research, analysis, editing and processes. Picture this platform as an amalgam of outlandish, unconventional ideas from today’s young innovators.

My role involves finding and organising these young innovators, creating questions and presenting them to these young innovators and facilitating their responses. Opiner is a vehicle for inspiration. It mimics the process of mini sprints, through co-creation it facilitates opportunity for others, voicing the opinions of young individuals and works to change society for the better. It is working at Opiner that has really taught me the importance of listening to learn rather than just respond. I am thoroughly excited to see where this goes.
