Dissertation: Marketing Psychology
My Psychology Masters has indeed equipped me with the foundations to explore and understand people and users on a deeper level. It has equipped me with techniques to conduct and analyse qualitative and quantitative data. I have had experience communicating research methods, findings and insights through creating experiments while writing up reports on my findings and again, analysing and suggesting the implications for future. My dissertation focuses on the idea of communicating a specific message seamlessly through design choices. I understand the value of branding and of a user’s relationship with a company forming from their very first experience with it, to maintaining their loyalty throughout. My dissertation concentrates on the importance of a user’s initial trust in a company from their advert, through the use of colour. Since colour has been found as a powerful antecedent for trust, which in turn, is an important feature for company success.
